School fees and fees for additional services such as clubs, outings, extras etc. are calculated by the Governors under the advisement of the Bursar. We aim to generate a surplus of income over expenditure to make possible the necessary investment in the provision of facilities, staff, resources and property.

The Registration Fee is £100 and is non-refundable.  Term dates and registration information are available upon request or downloadable from the relevant pages on our website.  A confirmation deposit of £300 is payable upon confirmation of a place.  The fee will be repaid within 12 weeks of a child leaving Hopelands less any sums owing to the school at that time. 

The school fees, per term, from September 2012 are:

Personal Accident Insurance is charged to parents' termly bills at a cost of £6.25 per term.

Hopelands’ fees are inclusive of:

All class lessons during the school day 8.30am to 3.30pm
Books, art and craft materials
Swimming, games and PE
Exam preparation for Grammar Schools through timetabled Verbal Reasoning lessons (Common Entrance and Scholarship preparation is available on request)

School fees are not inclusive of:

School meals (optional - charged at £2.65 per meal)
Music tuition (piano, violin, flute, cello and guitar)
Before and after school activities (see below list of charges)
Residential trips (such as PGL)

School fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each term. Nursery fees are payable in advance at the beginning of every half term. Arrangements can be made to pay fees monthly, when a surcharge of £20 per payment will be levied to cover interest and extra administrative charges. One full term’s notice will be given by the Governors regarding any increase in school fees.

School care and extra-curricular activities are available every day. A breakdown of the activities and charges are shown below. An extra-curricular activity booking form is sent out to all parents at the end of every term.
