As a registered charity, Hopelands Preparatory School takes very seriously the requirement for all charities to demonstrate that their activities deliver a genuine public benefit.
We firmly believe that families should not be restricted in being able to benefit from the schools' charitable aims by their financial circumstances. To uphold this belief, the School now offers a limited number of means tested assisted places to the public.
Furthermore, the School reduces the financial burden to the state by educating some 75 pupils who would otherwise be educated within the state sector.
Means-tested Bursaries
The result of a means test will determine the level of assistance available to a family. All bursaries are awarded for one year after which a family will be invited to a repeat means test. The award offered may be varied depending on the retest.
For further information please contact either Mrs Sheila Bradburn, Head (sbradburn@hopelands.org.uk) or Mr Michael Coles, Bursar (mcoles@hopelands.org.uk) on 01453 822164.
